Not every workload in your data center can take advantage of All-Flash Arrays (AFA). Most organizations can't, but a few may need even more performance than what flash can deliver. Data Centers have too many workloads with too much IO variability to limit themselves to just one storage type. However, some data centers may find an AFA an excellent starting point. Even if an AFA is the right place to start, you still will want the flexibility to mix either faster or more cost-effective media types in the future.
