Senior Software Engineer

A unique storage startup is looking for top-notch software engineers, experts in C# / C++ / Java to join our R&D team!

Skills and Experience:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science from a leading university.
  • Proven track record in development of technology products.
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a C# / C++ / Java developer – a must.
  • Experience in object oriented design and development – a must.

  • Past experience in the fields of Networking, Storage – advantage

Storage Admin

  • Experience in client side storage configuration – a must.
  • Experience in IP networks
  • Experience in backup solutions

Storage Sales Engineer

StorONE is seeking candidates for Storage Sales Engineer. The Storage Sales Engineer will align to an identified territory, focusing on strategic selling and hunting within assigned territory.  80% of your time will be helping identified clients understand the true magnitude of StorONE’s value to the company. At times, working with strategic partners, other times working with a client throughout the sales cycle.  20% of the time will be hunting new prospects in a given territory.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly articulate business value of our storage technology to customers within assigned territory
  • Articulate competitive differentiators, business outcomes and value proposition as it relates to StorONE’s S1’s product features
  • Perform virtual and live demos of S1, (we work globally) our disruptive software-defined storage solution.
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
  • Contribute to the building of pipeline by generating leads and referrals and new customer opportunities within a specialty area.
  • Interface with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development.
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through effective knowledge transfer in the area of specialization.
  • Generate net new qualified pipeline and drive opportunities throughout the sales cycle
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Set up and attend on-site customer meetings

Education And Experience Required 

  • Ten plus years working in a data center
  • Two plus years directly involved in managing a storage environment.
  • Three plus years of demonstrated success in successfully selling advanced technology to an IT environment.
  • University or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customers and higher level customer interface
